………..
In 2016 I completed my first 365 Photo-a-day project and I am attempting it again for 2018!
I didn’t make it very far last year in 2017 and I am just taking it one day at a time for this year. However, I am happy that I completed the first month! So only 11 more to go! Even if I do not make it the whole way through the year, I will be happy to walk away with the images that I took. Images that I probably would not have been naturally motivated to capture. By doing this project it pushes me to get out my camera and shoot daily and to try to get creative. I have to understand that everyday I will not take an amazing photo and I may not get a photo every single day. Some days I miss and I just make it up by getting two photos the following day. One of the only goals that I have for this project is to GET IN THE PHOTOS! I really want to capture more images of me with my boys and perhaps some self portraits of me alone (which is so very hard by the way!). But look below, I already got in a few of them!

I love this idea, phenomenal images.
Thank you so much!
What a fantastic goal! I love that you are doing this….and trying to include yourself more. Fabulous work!
Thanks! I hope to make it at least to the end of February! It’s hard in the winter!
Goodness gracious. I adore your moody, black and whites. Such precious family keepsakes
Thank you! I am a fan of those moody bw’s ;)
I love these so much. Sometimes you don’t realize how important that “1” photo is until a year later you have 365….and a teeny little glimpse back into each memory. Just stunning!
Yes! exactly! Even if I quit today that is 33 photos I would not have taken! and thank you!
oh I love these challenges. I think I need to join in and just skip January. So fun!
You can totally skip January and start ANY day of the year!
This is such a brave project to take on.
Yes indeed! Some days are harder than others ;)
