As a professional newborn photographer who serves families all over southwest Pennsylvania and northeast Ohio, I often get asked if I travel to Hudson, Ohio for newborn or family photo sessions, and the answer is yes, I’m happy to do newborn and family photo sessions in Hudson and I have done so many times!
As a Hudson newborn photographer, I love to capture natural and timeless images of precious babies in the comfort of their homes! I do not have a studio and I specialize in at-home lifestyle newborn photo sessions which includes the whole family, even pets and grandparents!
I want every newborn and family session to feel as unique as the people in front of my camera. Your photos shouldn’t look cookie cutter or like they could belong to anyone else. Having your session in your own home naturally makes it personal, capturing your family in a place that is familiar and meaningful to you. And honestly, it’s also a whole lot easier and more convenient than packing everyone up and heading to a studio!
I have photographed hundreds of newborn babies for over 15 years. When it comes to newborn photography, experience definitely matters!
I take a very organic and natural approach to my newborn photoshoots so I do not like to use a bunch of props and I am not a fan of posing babies in a bunch of unnatural poses. I prefer to capture a newborn just as they are, perfect and pure. You can read more about my approach to photographing babies here in this blog post.
My newborn sessions are very laid back and relaxed and they take place right in the comfort of your very own home. I want to capture unique images of your baby and your family in your house. Some parents put a lot of time and thought into their baby’s nursery so I love to get photos in there too!
I believe baby is best photographed in the safety and comfort of their parents’ arms. A majority of my photos will include both parents, siblings or fur kids that you might also have! And I love to include the Grandparents, so feel free to invite them over!
However, I also get a variety of images of your baby alone in their crib, cradle, bassinet, on your bed, etc.. And although I do not bring props to your session, I love to use your favorite blankets, swaddles, sleepers etc, into your photos.
