“Where can I take pictures in Beaver County, PA?”
I have heard questions like this from many clients and other photographers seeking the perfect location for their photo sessions! As a Beaver County family photographer, I have photographed families in many locations all around Beaver and the surrounding areas and I’m always happy to share the locations that I have used!

1. Beaver
Downtown Beaver is an adorable little town that could be a great location for a photo session! There are many small businesses on the main street like a candy store, ice cream shop, cafes, and a Starbucks! There is also a beautiful white gazebo surrounded by trees in Irvine Park!
2. Brady’s Run Park
This is a large park with plenty of trees, a shallow creek, and a skatepark. Here is a family session with fall foliage. Here’s is a good parking area to get by the creek and explore and here is a nice spot by the lake.
3. G. Sahli Nature Park | Chippewa

A beautiful wooded park with tall pines, a pond, paths into the woods and a cute little red cottage.
4. Air Heritage Museum at the Beaver County Airport
This place has some great old airplanes. Please call ahead to get permission.
5. Brush Creek Park | Beaver Falls

This park has a creek, a covered bridge as well as a pond with a cute bridge and a willow tree next to it! So many great spots for a family photo session!
6. Buttermilk Falls Waterfall | Beaver Falls

This waterfall is just off of the Beaver Falls exit on the turnpike and a short hike to a large waterfall.
7. Rochester Riverfront Park

This park has a great view of the river and the old railroad bridges.
8. Rochester
Downtown Rochester is full of historic old buildings that would make a great backdrop for a photo session.
9. Bridgewater Crossing

This park has a great view of the river with an overlook and a nice big boat dock on the river that goes close to the old railroad bridges.
10. Old Economy Village
Goolge Maps
Old Economy Village is a historic settlement in Ambridge, Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Theres brick buildings, maintained gardens, statues, fountains and so much more! Please call ahead for permission to take photos. A photographers fee may apply.
11. Beaver Heritage Museum & Train Station

Please note that a permit is required for photo sessions. Just call ahead to get permission. Three is an old log cabin with maintained flower gardens and the historic train station is right next to it.
12. Raccoon Creek State Park
Google Maps
This park is pretty big so you will need to take an afternoon to explore it on your own. There is a lake and “beach” area, creeks, and plenty of trails throughout the woods. The wildflower hiking trail is popular in the spring as is the Frankfort Springs Falls.
