Mother and Son photo session at Mellon Park

Before I photographed the whole family on the North shore of Pittsburgh before they moved to the west coast, I did their mother and son photo Session at Mellon Park.

This session was supposed to take place in early Spring for Mother’s Day but COVID happened and we had to delay it for a few months.

I was so happy that we were finally able to reschedule it! We had originally planned to do a fun session in their home, but in the time since we had planned their session, they had packed up almost all of their belongings to send them to the West coast!

And when we still tried to make the session happen at their home, they were having some construction done the same day! Sometimes you just have to pivot and come up with a plan b and c! So we dedided to head a few blocks up the street and do the session at Mellon Park instead.

I love meeting clients at Mellon Park! This beautiful park is in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, just off of 5th Avenue. I really appreciate the people that maintain it and keep it so clean and beautiful.

It was so fun to hang out with these two for an hour! I love seeing how much this cute kiddo changes from year to year and photographing their mother and son photo Session at Mellon Park.
