Photo session with a new baby girl and her parents

Here is the full blog post from my in home newborn lifestyle photo session with this gorgeous couple and their brand new baby girl!   It was so wonderful to spend a few hours with them in their beautiful home taking photos and chatting!   I just love to capture these moments of first time parents with their new babies!   It’s so fun for me document how they work as a team during feedings and diaper changings.  I find that a lot of my clients have little experience with a baby yet they often seem so natural with their newborn!

I really loved the nursery that Mom and Dad decorated for their precious baby girl!

Any time that my clients have a pet, I always try to get photos of them!   Their cat and/or  dog, is usually their first “baby” of the family!   I love to hear the story of how old their furry baby is, who had them as a pet first or if it is a pet that they both got together.   This sweet kitty was very curious about me and why I was there.   And she was very photogenic which made it easy to capture some beautiful photos of her!  She was also quite a character that was keeping us entertained during our session.

A friend of the family made this beautiful vintage looking crate with the letter “E” on it for baby E!
Mom wanted to incorporate it into a few photos and I was happy to do that for them!
