Newborn Photos in Regent Square Pittsburgh

Here is part two of a recent birth story, newborn photos in Regent Square Pittsburgh. My birth stories usually do not include a newborn photo session at home, but I do this for my birth clients when their birth does not go as planned.

You can see part one here from the birth of their gorgeous baby girl at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. Baby girl arrived six weeks early, and although she was doing great, she still had to be taken very soon after birth to the NICU. I was unable to go to the NICU for more photos so I was more than happy to get photos in the comfort of their own home once baby was released from the hospital, just two weeks after her birth. I say this all the time, but honestly, these relaxing session in my clients homes are my very favorite! Mom and Dad and big sister got to stay in their comfy clothes and hang out on the couch and on the bed while I documented a few hours of their life. A new life as parents of a newborn and a toddler.

Do you remember the days and weeks after you have a baby where you got to just lounge around snuggling your newborn? Of course this looks different when it’s your 2nd or 3rd or 4th+ baby and you and Dad have to tag team caring for both/all the kiddos. I wish I had been better at just relaxing and resting after I had my babies. I know this is hard for a lot of people, but it is so important to take it super easy after having a baby.
