I think if you follow my work then you probably know by now that my favorite location to photograph families is right at their homes! Here are my images for Family Photos at home in Bridgeville. Yes, we are very fortunate that Pittsburgh has dozens of beautiful parks and places for photo locations but there is nothing like having your family photos taken right at your house!
Although our parks are beautiful and our city and towns are filled with great buildings and architecture, our homes are where we are happy and comfortable. I also really want your photo session to be unique to your family and you can not get more unique than doing them at your very own house!
Like most of my recent blog posts, I am going to split this one up into two parts! I take and deliver a lot of digital photos to my clients when they hire me as their photographer so I like to share a variety of those images on my blog. I want anyone that is considering hiring me to document their family to see a lot of images from one session with a family. Some photographers will only show you a few of the very best photos from a session and I feel like that is never enough!
Here is part one which will include images from the front porch of their new home and some photos when we went inside.
Part two will be from the photos I took in their big back yard!
This is a wonderful family that has chosen me multiple times to photograph their growing family! (I am so very grateful to my return clients!) I met this couple when their first son was born for newborn photos at their old home and a few more times including when they welcomed their baby girl into the family. I was so excited when they decided to do this session at their new home they moved into this past Spring!
When I do a photo session at my clients’ home we can take photos on the porches, decks, front and back yard and inside the house! And although I love the casual and candid photos, I always take the time to make sure to gather everyone together for some classic family photos. I make sure these photos are fun and natural (opposed to a stiff and posed family portrait) but I always try to get everyone to look at the camera and smiling!
After spending some time outside, we headed inside for more photos inside the house.
They have an amazing all seasons room filled with windows!
They told me this is where they spend the majority of their time and if I lived there, I would too!
This adorable little guy helped Dad pick a song out so he could dance!
It feels like it was just a few months ago that I photographed this little girl when she was a tiny newborn!
Soon she will be one year old and she is almost walking!
As always, it was so much fun to hang out with this family!
