Pittsburgh Family Photos at Phipps | Twin Session

……..

I met up with this awesome Pittsburgh family outside of Phipps Conservatory and Schenley Park’s visitor center to do their family photos!  It’s not too often that I get to work with a set of twins (especially boy and girl twins) so I was super excited when their Mom contacted me for a fall family photo session.    These three year old cuties were full of energy and so much fun to work with.  I think three is such a fun and magical age that gets a bad reputation.   I mean yes, I have had three, three year old boys.  And they definitely had their moments and struggles and fair share of meltdowns (especially from that middle child).  However, despite the challenging days, I still love how they are excited about everything and they are just little sponges that want to learn so much about the world around them.   I love when they ask 101 questions and want to collect every stone, stick, pinecone and acorn they find on their walk.   Ok, so maybe I am feeling sentimental and want to remember all the good times and it’s possible that I am forgetting how it really can be a struggle when you are in the midst of the terrible threes… Either way, if I could turn back time and relive those years again, I totally would.   Pretty sure I say this like all of the time but I’ll say it again (and most likely I’ll say it again and again) TIME GOES WAY TOO FAST.   I love that their Mama wanted to document this time in their life.  I am sure she has had her fair share of struggles raising TWO three year olds, but I know that she most likely also wishes that time would slow down just a little bit.
