In the past year I began offering a new type of photo session to my clients
called Documentary Sessions.
These are also known as Storytelling or Day in the Life Sessions.
My goal with a session like this is to
capture families either in their homes, in town or at the park
just being themselves and hanging out together!
The photos have a more candid and real life feel to them than other types of photo sessions.
This is also the way I tend to photograph my own children.
……….
My client wanted this kind of session.
She found my website online and contacted me about a
documentary photography session for her own family!
We first met in Schenley Plaza and they took their beautiful little girl
on the Carousel for her very first time and she loved it!
I just love this carousel, it is so whimsical and fun with all of the different animals.
After the carousel we headed over to the fountain where the baby had
a ball kicking her little feet in the water and watching the other kids play.
We then walked over to a grassy spot in the shade so she could have her bottle.
I loved seeing her interact with her Mom and Dad…
who were just so loving and wonderful with her!
She is such a happy and sweet baby girl!
I love this age so much! They can sit up, clap, babble and really show their personality!
I loved getting to know this little family and hope to work with them again in the future!
They are such a wonderful family and Mom has such a beautiful smile!
