4 Reasons Why My Photo Sessions Include a Print Credit | Treesdale Family Photographer

Did you know I include a complimentary print credit with each digital collection? Your session fee turns into a print credit! After selecting and purchasing your digital collection, I gift back all, or more towards the purchase of prints & products!

You may be wondering, what’s a print credit!?

A print credit is like a gift card or voucher that can be used towards a purchase in your online gallery store. Although your digital images include a print release to print whatever you want from wherever you want, I also offer a variety of professionally printed prints and print products via your online gallery. You can choose from gift-sized prints, framed prints, mounted prints (to frame yourself), canvas wraps, photo books, photo albums, and more.

Once you purchase a collection via your gallery, the store will appear when you click on the shopping cart icon. Choosing and ordering products via your gallery store is an easy process! During the checkout process, you’ll enter a coupon code to apply your print credit.

As a family photographer, I believe capturing your cherished moments doesn’t end with digital files. It’s incredibly important to transform your favorite images into tangible, professional-quality products that you can enjoy for years to come.

And I’ve included images from a recent at-home family photo session with some of my favorite return clients! This beautiful Mom is so great at printing and displaying photos in their gorgeous home in the Treesdale area of Pittsburgh.

  1. Create Lasting Family Heirlooms

Tangible products, such as prints or photo albums, create lasting heirlooms that can be passed down through generations. Unlike digital files, which can be easily lost or forgotten on a device, physical photographs tell your family’s story. Imagine your children or grandchildren flipping through a beautifully designed album decades from now, reliving special moments and sparking memories of their childhood.

While digital images are convenient, there’s something truly special about holding a printed photo or flipping through a photo book. Tangible products like albums allow you to experience your images in a more personal, meaningful way. They can be touched, passed around, and admired without the need for a screen or device.

  2. Decorating and Personalizing Your Home

Family photography displayed as wall art, framed prints, or canvas gallery wraps transforms your house into a home. Whether it’s a framed canvas of your family portrait above the fireplace or a gallery wall of candid moments in your hallway, these images remind you daily of what matters most.

Displaying photos of your children and family gives everyone in those images a deep sense of belonging. They remind us that we are loved!

As a kid (and now as an adult), I loved looking through the photo albums my mom created! My three sons who (are now teenagers and a young adult), love to flip through all of the photo albums I have created for our family!

  3. Professional Quality

High-quality prints make sure your photos look their best. The products from my gallery store are of professional quality and made with attention to detail, so the colors and finishes stay beautiful for years to come. Whether it’s a framed print or a custom album, the quality you get from a professional lab is far beyond what you’d get from regular consumer printers. It’s an investment you’ll be able to enjoy and treasure for a lifetime.

  4. Sharing and Gifting Your Photos with Others

Wall art, photo albums, and prints make perfect keepsake gifts for grandparents and other family members. Whether it’s a framed print of the grandchildren or an album filled with special moments, these gifts bring joy and hold real emotional value. Instead of a typical present that will be forgotten or unused, a beautifully printed photo is something that will be cherished for years to come.

Not to mention, studies have proved that displaying family photos boosts children’s self-esteem and helps build their confidence. Research shows that it’s important for kids to see themselves as part of a family!

Investing in tangible photography products like prints, canvas wall art, framed photos, and photo albums is one of the best ways to honor your family’s most precious moments. They bring lasting value, help create a warm and welcoming home, and preserve your memories in a way that digital files simply can’t. Your images deserve to live beyond a computer’s hard drive or screen!

So that is why I include a print credit with every digital collection that I offer!
