I am giving a 365 Project another try! A 365 is when you take a photo every single day for an entire year. To be more accurate, 2016 is a leap year, so it is technically going to be a 366. I believe this is my 4th attempt, and I never seem to make it to May, but I have high hopes of getting further this time. I plan to crate a photo book of all of the images that I capture!
I encourage you all to join me! Although it is fun to begin on January 1st, there are no rules for a 365. You can start any day of the year! You can use your cell phone, you can use a real camera, do it however you want. You do not have to share it with the world, you can keep them all to yourself. And if you miss a day, no big deal, just aim to get two shots the next day. Comment below if you are already doing one or want to start. If you are doing one, leave me a link to where I can see yours!
I will be posting mine here on my blog once a week and I will be posting them daily on my Instagram feed. Here is week #1/52 of documenting life around me.
day #1 – Making Smore’s over a fire in Daddy’s hut in the woods.
day #2 – I taught Silas a favorite childhood game: “The floor is lava!!!”
He thought it was the best game ever. And it brought back great memories for me.
day #3- We built 8 puzzles, played 2 games of memory
and then you wanted to play Life, my least favorite game.
day #4 – When I take away the video games, my kids remember their love for reading.
day #5 – At sunrise, two out of three boys joined me for a walk…it was only 9 degrees.
We threw rocks onto the frozen pond to hear the echo noises.
day #6 – We took a family walk into the woods, even Teddy joined in, but
he was trailing behind us.
day #7 – For some reason, it never dawned on me to let my kids wash the van at the car wash!
They each had a great time spraying the bird poo off the van.
It was. BAD! We have a large flock of starlings here on the farm
and I am convinced they aim for the van.
At least they are fun to watch fly around.
Check back next week for week #2 of my 365!
