It was like any other Tuesday morning where I got up early before the kids and drank my coffee on the porch while I glared at my yoga mat all rolled up in the corner. (I have a love-hate relationship with yoga, I hate getting started, but I usually love it after I get started) I began to talk myself into rolling my mat out but that morning I decided to check my emails first. I have a morning routine that I stick to it because I work hard on balancing my work/life schedules for the sake of my sanity. I get up a few hours before my kids, I have my coffee, do my yoga (most days), then I check my emails and work on my business. However, on this Tuesday morning, I was so glad that I decided to check my email first! Imagine my surprise to read these words with my sleepy eyes…
“…we’re big fans of yours and wanted to let you know that we featured you in our 9 Best Family Photographers in Pittsburgh article!“
I was in total disbelief! Me!? Chosen to be featured in an article with eight other amazing Pittsburgh Family photographers!? What a wonderful way to start my day! And what an amazing honor to be chosen and featured out of many other talented photographers in the area!
Although I am not usually one to share things like this, it did make me feel pretty darn good! So, here I am, sharing it, while also talking myself out of deleting this blog post! I have never been one to draw attention to myself! Like, I was the kid that hated birthday parties, eloped because the thought of a wedding made me full of anxiety and I got mad at my sister for throwing me a beautiful baby shower because the thought of sitting in front of a room opening gifts gave me hives.

Ok, you should really just do it right now because you know “after the kids go to bed” turns into tomorrow morning and that will turn into next week and that turns into February and before you know it, five more years have slipped by.
