Youngstown Newborn Photographer in Poland, Canfield and Boardman, Ohio

I am so happy that I am now a Youngstown newborn photographer for the Poland, Canfield, and Boardman, Ohio areas! Although I am still taking on clients in Pittsburgh, we moved a little further north so I am now a bit closer to the Youngstown, Ohio area and I’m excited to be able to begin taking on clients around these areas!

I specialize in lifestyle newborn photos and these kinds of sessions take place in the comfort of your own home. You can see from my newborn gallery that my sessions include a lot of images of the baby with their parents.

As a Mom to three boys, I very much regret not getting more photos of myself with my babies so it is very important to me to get the parents in the photos. I promise that you will not regret getting IN the photos!

I also believe that a baby is best photographed in the comfort and safety of their parents’ loving arms. However, I’ll also get plenty of photos of your baby alone on a bed, in their crib, or in a cradle, etc.

A lifestyle session is a bit different than a posed or studio newborn session. Unlike most newborn photographers, I do not use props and I do not put the baby in buckets or bowls and I do not pose your baby. Instead, I let them naturally pose themselves in whatever way they feel safe and comfortable.

And unlike most newborn photos that you see, I actually LOVE to get photos of your baby awake! To me, there is nothing like looking into the eyes of a brand new baby so I love to get photos of their beautiful and alert eyes!

This also means there is less stress to worry about if your baby will sleep deeply for their session! Since I do not pose your baby into a bunch of positions, it is not necessary to have them in a deep sleep during the photos.

Although I do not bring props along, (which is also safer during a pandemic) I love to utilize items that you already have! I always ask Mom to let me use some of her favorite blankets or wraps and to pick out a few favorite onesies or sleepers. I think it is much more special and unique to use the baby’s own items.

In addition to including parents in every newborn photo session, I love to include the whole family, like older siblings, Grandparents, and even the family dog. A big concern with parents is how their toddler or older child will behave with the baby and for the photo session.

I promise you that dealing with toddlers (who are not crazy about the new baby) and newborns is one of my specialties. I have a lot of experience in this area and I always manage to safely get photos of them together!

One of the main goals of my newborn photo sessions is to keep it as laid back and relaxing as possible. The last thing that sleep-deprived parents need to worry about is a photo session! I do my very best to keep the entire process from beginning to end, as stress-free as possible.

And because I do not set strict time constraints for my sessions, I allow plenty of time during your session for feedings and diaper changes so you never feel rushed or stressed.
