Newborn Photo Session at Home | Squirrel Hill

Here is the full blog post from my newborn session with this wonderful little family at their Pittsburgh home!   I know I say this about a lot of my photo sessions (ok, maybe most of them), but this was one of my favorite sessions!    I just love a photo session that is totally relaxed and laid back.   When I do a newborn session at my client’s home I prefer to photograph everyone naturally interacting together rather than posing everyone.    I find that the session always goes so much smoother when everyone is relaxed and just hanging out in the comfort of their own home.    And although the new baby is the center of attention, I love to include the whole family!   I prefer images of baby being held, snuggled, cuddled and loved by Mom and Dad rather than unnaturally posed alone.  This kind of photography style is known as lifestyle photography.

It is always so fun for me to document the dynamics between an older toddler sibling and the new baby.
This big brother was so sweet with his new baby brother.

This family reminded me so much of mine after I had my second son.

I really loved working with this wonderful family and I am so sad that they
will soon be moving far away from the Pittsburgh area!
