Here is a look at a recent winter maternity photo session in the snow!
This soon-to-be-Mama was just gorgeous and glowing with the perfect baby belly!
When this beautiful client contacted me about a maternity and newborn session,
I was so happy that we were on the same page about doing the maternity session outside, in the snow!
This fun couple met me on a chilly morning, but they did a great job of braving the cold with smiles and laughter.
I tried to keep the session short to keep them from freezing, but I could have photographed them all morning.
They were so natural and comfortable for the camera!
We decided to make sure there would be snow on the ground and agreed that the
mansion at Hartwood Acres in the North Hills would be a perfect location!
The stone architecture of the mansion was a great balance with a white snowy backdrop.
Typically, the mansion is a hot spot for photographers, especially on a warm summer afternoon.
And for good reason, it is quite magical during that golden hour right before sunset!
But as I predicted, on a snowy winter morning, we had the whole place to ourselves!
(Minus a couple of dog walkers)
Thankfully, it was not one of those single digit winter days,
I was even able to shoot the whole session without my gloves on.
Which is surprising for me because my hands are always cold!
Their soon to be son is so lucky to have such amazing parents!
I can not wait to meet and photograph their baby when he is born next month!
