Here are a few images from a recent family photo session at my clients home in Pittsburgh! We did more of a documentary session where I just photograph their beautiful family hanging out and having a usual Sunday afternoon of board games, lunch and a family dance party in the living room! These are my favorite kinds of sessions because they are so relaxed and laid back. Documentary sessions are a bit different than just a lifestyle session. I do not direct my clients much at all and there is not any posing involved. I just capture the scene as it naturally unfolds. I call these “Real Life” Family sessions! These kinds of sessions are perfect for a family with one kid or six kids. They can be for first time parents with a new baby or parents of teens and tweens or anything in between.
