South Park Newborn Photographer | Yes, I Include the Whole Family

As a newborn photographer for families in the South Park neighborhoods of Pittsburgh, I absolutely want to include your whole family in the photo session! This is one of the many perks of having a lifestyle newborn session done at your home.

Although this post mostly has images of Mom and Dad with baby, you can see a lot more photos from this newborn session that include the big sister over in this blog post! I had just too many images to share to fit in one blog post!

Many of the images from my at-home newborn photo sessions include both parents. And if you have older children, I definitely want to include them in the photos!

At each of my newborn photo sessions, I capture images of the baby alone, with each parent, baby with both parents, with each sibling, with all of the siblings, and of course, everyone together!

While newborns steal the spotlight, there’s something magical about including the whole family in those snapshots. It’s not just about the baby, it’s about celebrating the love and connection that make your family unique.

Every family has a story and a newborn photo session is like the opening chapter, and including everyone paints a picture of your family’s tale. These photos become your family’s storybook and a keepsake your child will cherish as they grow, reminding them of their special place in your family’s history.

Also, newborn photos aren’t just about posing. They’re about capturing real moments of love and connection. When everyone gets involved, you’re more likely to catch those spontaneous hugs, kisses, and real smiles. All moments that you’ll treasure forever.

If you have older children, including them in the newborn photo session is a great way to encourage sibling bonding. These photos create memories that’ll last a lifetime and one day your kids will love to look back on the photos from these sessions!
