As a Wexford family photographer, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting and hanging out with this fun couple and their super adorable little girl at their Wexford home. I have so many images I want to share from our session but here are my favorite images from the first part of our session that took place inside their home.
I absolutely loved the fun and colorful decor of their home!
Before they headed outside to play in the yard, I captured their family breakfast time together.
This little one is full of smiles and has the best personality and she totally made me miss this stage of raising toddlers.
I’m so fortunate to meet and work with awesome families that I sincerely wish I could spend the whole day with!
If you have ever wrangled a toddler to get them dressed, then you totally get this.
And then we headed outside… I loved shooting this not your ordinary family photo sessionStay tuned for my part 2 blog post from this family session at home!
If you weren’t able to schedule a family portrait session this year, I urge you to consider a documentary photo session for your family! I honestly very much wish I had more everyday moments like this captured when my boys were little.
Don’t get me wrong, I literally have thousands of photos of them but you know what’s missing from those photos? Me. And that makes me want to cry.
I absolutely cherish the photos from the very few family sessions we have had, but if I could go back in time I’d want photos of us making crafts or making messes in the kitchen or reading books together…those everyday moments in our homes that we usually take for granted.
As a Wexford family photographer, I know I say it often and I know raising little ones is super hard work (you’re totally allowed to admit this!!) and you hate to be told this, but it goes fast. Like super fast. Cherish it. Capture it. Or better yet, let me capture it. Because soon they’re all hiding in their rooms on screens and family time starts to look really different…
It’s not too late to get on my schedule! While it may be too cold for an outdoor session, it’s time to think of an alternative to a traditional portrait session! Let’s plan a session that takes place right in the comfort of your own home!
Just shoot me a message and we will find a day that works for both of us!
PS, I will take all precautions to keep your family safe while I am in your home. (mask, hand washing, keeping my distance, etc.)
Go have a look at part 2 of our session!
