Yes, We Can Include Your Dog in Your Newborn Photo Session | North Hills Newborn Photographer

Many of the inquiries that I receive for an in-home, lifestyle newborn photo session ask me if I can include their dog in their newborn photos and my answer is almost always, yes, please! As a North Hills Newborn Photographer, I am more than happy to include your dog in the baby photos.

However, safety first! Always! I will only include your dog after we are very sure the dog is comfortable around the baby and we know the baby is in not in any danger. I will not attempt to include the dog until I meet it and feel comfortable with it very close to the baby.

Here are a BUNCH of images from a recent newborn session with a North Hills family and their super precious brand new baby boy and their very adorable and super sweet doggo, Reggie! This pup was very calm and gentle around the new baby so I loved including him in a lot of their photos!

After I arrive at a home that has a dog, I always spend the first few minutes allowing the dog to smell me (and my camera bag) so they can get to know me. And please do not ever apologize for the dog fur, I have a golden retriever so I am used to it!

Notice the Golden Doodle on the stuffie/blankie and on his muslin blanket!

I love to see how curious the fur-baby is of the new little human in the house!

It was so fun to meet and hang out with this wonderful couple and their baby boy and their fur baby in their North Hills home for their in-home, lifestyle newborn photo session!
