As a family photographer for families in the Boardman, Ohio area, my main goal is to make your family photo session a fun and relaxing experience, from start to finish!
This past year has been really hard on most families and I think we’re all stressed out more than ever so the last thing I want to do is to add more things to your list to worry about!
I have over twelve years of experience as a family photographer and with that comes plenty of experience working with all kinds of families and with babies and children of all ages. I’m a bit of a baby and child whisperer and I have ton of tricks up my sleeve to keep everyone relaxed so I can capture some real and natural smiles and laughter, rather than forced cheesy smiles!
I do my very best to not only keep everything stress free, but as simple as possible. I love to help my clients prepare for their photoshoot and provide them with all of the information they need to know on what to expect before our session. I’ll help guide you with decisions on things like what to wear for your photos and choosing the best location for your session and the best location for your unique family.
I take a lifestyle approach to family photo sessions and encourage everyone to have fun together rather than try to uncomfortably pose everyone and make them look into the camera and awkwardly smile for an hour! You’ll never hear me tell everyone to “say cheese!” That is just asking for a bunch of forced smiles!!
I’ll take a variety of fun and candid photos of you all together mixed with images where I’ll gently guide you into more natural poses with each other. I’ll get plenty of images of just your kids alone, the siblings together, the kids with each parent and photos of all of you together.
I’ll also provide you with helpful tips on getting your spouse on board for a family photo session and tips on how to prepare the kids for photos. Here’s a hint don’t tell them it’s a photo session! Tell them you’re going to just hang out together and have fun and I’ll just happen to be there too, with my camera ;)
I’m currently booking family photo sessions in Boardman, Poland, Canfield and other areas in the Youngstown, Ohios area for this Spring and Summer and I’d love to get you on my schedule! Family photo sessions do not always have to take place at the park! We can do it comfortably right at your own home and we get photos inside and outside in your yard and on your porch!
