As parents, we have so many other things to stress out about, the last thing I want you to worry about is a photo session for your family! From your initial email inquiry until the delivery of your digital images and gorgeous professional products, I’ll do my very best to keep the process as easy and as simple as possible.
I’ve been a family photographer for over twelve years and with that comes plenty of experience working with all kinds of families and children of all ages. I am a bit of a baby and child whisperer and I can get your two year old to stop a tantrum, your three year old to stand still for a few minutes, your shy four year old to relax and even get your six year old to give me some real natural smiles instead of the forced cheesy ones.
I also have a way to get older kids to relax and have fun and I promise they’ll change their mind about thinking photos are lame. I’ll get your preteen or your teenagers to cooperate and maybe even enjoy themselves.
Rather than having a photo session where everyone has to look at the camera, pose and smile, my sessions are way more fun and relaxing! I take a lifestyle approach to photography so this means I will capture a lot of candid and natural images during your session. However, don’t worry, I ‘ll also add in a mix of posed images where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling. And yes, I want to include your dog!
I have a few different options for a family photo session and I want to make your session as unique as your family.
Many of the families that I photograph opt to have their session right at the comfort of their home. When you have a photo session at your home we can take pictures inside and outside in the yard and on the porch.

If a photoshoot at home is not for you, then we we’ll plan to meet at an outdoor location like a park that is convenient and close to you. I’d love to chose a location that your family is familiar with and I’m happy to give you a handful of locations to chose from.
