Here is Part two from my newborn session with this sweet little family in their beautiful home! Here is Part two from my newborn session with this sweet little family in their beautiful home! As a Shadyside Newborn Photographer, I love to do in home newborn sessions!

I forgot to mention in my last post that beautiful baby S may have smiled more than any newborn I have photographed in the last ten years!

No kidding, it was the most precious thing ever and they were totally intentional smiles! She would look at mom and dad then smile so big! She definitely melted my heart each time and even made me a little sad that my baby days are long behind me. Thank goodness I have a job where I get to work with precious little babies all the time!

I hope to work with this lovely little family of three again in the future! It was so awesome to get to know them and I am always grateful to the clients that invite me into their homes for a few hours. I know that it is not always easy to have someone enter your safe space, especially after you just had a baby! I am so very thankful for the many many families that have invited me into their homes over the last ten years to photograph their sweet new babies and themselves.

As a Shadyside Newborn Photographer, when I photograph a family in their home versus some other random location it is always obvious to me how much more relaxed they are. This is why I only photograph newborns and their parents at home and why I urge my clients that want family sessions, to just stay home! I could say that this is because I have the tendency to be a homebody but really, I find that everyone is just way more comfortable and relaxed in their own homes.
