I finally made the time to post (a lot) of the images from my lifestyle photo session with this family!   It was so great to meet and photograph this couple and their beautiful kiddos at Boyce Mayview Park in the South Hills.   We had such a nice and relaxed session at the park and the weather was perfect.   Their little girl and baby boy are gorgeous and sweet children with the most amazing eyes!     I really loved documenting some special moments between all of them.

For some reason, I always feel the need to caution my readers when I share a lot of photos.   Probably because it seems the consensus amongst most photographers is to only share the “best of the best” images from each session and to never post too many images in a portfolio or a blog post.   But is that is that possible?   To share too many images?  Recently, I have been thinking about this from another perspective because I was looking for a lifestyle photographer to photograph my own family while we are on vacation.    There are few great photographers to choose from in the area we will be visiting, but their portfolios and blog posts did not have enough images from any one single session.    I want to see more images from each session to get a better idea on what to expect for my own family session.  I do not just want to see the very best 2-10 images.  Please show me more! :)

I tend to base a lot of my business decisions on what I would want as a customer, so I feel that I need to share a larger selection of images in my blog posts and in my portfolio.   I want potential customers to get a really good idea on what to expect from a family or newborn session with me.   So here you go, “too many” images from one of my recent family photo sessions. ;)

Making the time to blog has been tricky because it has been a crazy busy couple of months for me.   However, I can not complain because the things that keep me busy are also the things I love!   (and the things that I love also helps to support my family ;) ) .  So I’m happy that I have been busy with newborn and family photo sessions and farm work!  And I am beyond grateful to have such a full schedule!

Although it’s not too late to schedule for family photo session,
my schedule is almost filled up for the rest of the summer!   And I am booking into the fall!
