What Does an In-Home Family Photo Session Look Like? | At-Home Family Photographer in Pittsburgh

So, you want to know what an in-home family photo session can look like? As an at-home Pittsburgh family photographer, I am going to share with you a bunch of images from a recent photo session with one of my favorite families!

This family will always hold a special place in my heart because I photographed the birth of both of these gorgeous little girls and I have done a few other photo sessions with them since then!

First, have a look at the welcoming committee!! I’m so glad I captured these images as I arrived to their beautiful Pittsburgh home!

And here are some of the activities I can document while taking photos at your home! And it does not have to be activities! It can just be some chilling and relaxing around the house together!

Breakfast (or lunch, dinner, or snacks):
I can capture images of meal preparation, baking and even eating (including food on the face of your adorable child)

Painting (or any other craft or game):

Swinging and playing outside in the yard: (bonus: this will include photos of your lovely home which you and your kids will treasure when they are older, especially if you move!)

Relaxing. Porch hangs and snuggles. Your family does not have to be doing things the whole time I am there! It’s perfectly ok to just do nothing but be together!

With my at-home family photo sessions, I am always sure to still include some fun, laid-back and naturally posed images of you all together!

Dancing and other chaotic family fun!

Mom told me one of the reasons they bought their home (other than it being beautiful and in a fantastic location not far from the city of Pittsburgh) was that her daughters could run laps around the main floor! How awesome is that!? And I was able to capture some of that fun action for her!

I love these two images because I absolutely love hearing children tell stories! Especially when they get all animated and talk with their hands. And then the way she looks at mom… #heartmelt 🥰
