When I take photos of families, I always encourage them to include their family dog! As a dog lover, who currently has two dogs, I know that your dog is also a big part of your family so they most definitely belong in the photos! Here are 9 photo sessions that include the family dog!
Unfortunately, our best furry friends are never here with us long enough. The pup in this last image has passed away since our photo session. He is actually one of at least five dogs that I have photographed over the last decade that is no longer with us. This is one of the reasons I think it is so important to include your best friend in your photo session. I know how very hard it is to lose a beloved pet. Our family dog died a couple of years ago and I am so glad that we have so many photos of him with our family!
I hope you enjoyed seeing my 9 photo sessions that include the family dog!
When you schedule a session with me, I always ask if you have a pet and if you want to include them in the photo session. Safety is always my first priority, especially when it comes to dogs and newborns, but I always try to get a few photos from each session that include your fur-kid, or fur-kids if you have more than one! Often, the fur-kids have been in the family longer than your children!
