Just six short months ago, I photographed this beautiful baby girl when she was a tiny newborn! I loved working with this wonderful couple and baby C, so I was very happy to also do a six month family session with them! Although it was late fall, we totally lucked out with a gorgeous warm and sunny day! Not the normal late fall temperatures for Pittsburgh! And thankfully, there was still plenty of colorful foliage on the trees. They live close to Frick Park, so we decided to do most of the session there, and then head back to the house for some lifestyle shots in their home.
Although I always have ideas for family activities for lifestyle and documentary sessions, I like to keep it as real to my clients everyday lives as possible. Before every session I ask my clients what they have in mind for their photos. I also ask them what are some regular activities that they usually do with their child in their home. This Mama told me that she often plays the piano with her daughter and that her daughter loves books and to be read to.
I just loved working with this couple again and seeing how much this gorgeous baby has grown since she was a newborn! I look forward to working with them again in the future!
