I have so many favorite newborn pictures of baby Parker that I decided to blog it in two parts! I had the honor of working with this Pittsburgh family when they had their first baby, two years ago! I had such a great time hanging out with them and their new son that I was beyond excited and honored when they hired me again for their precious newborn daughter, Parker! I have a lot of favorites because usually when there is a sibling or siblings at a newborn session, I take a lot more photos! So this Mom and Dad received a very full gallery with a lot more images than I promise!
I have some favorite kinds of sessions and I think one of them would be a newborn session when there is a toddler sibling! Toddlers get a bad rep, the terrible two’s and three’s, they are messy, challenging, start to refuse sleep and sometimes destructive. As an older Mom I forget all the craziness and chaos that can come along with toddlerhood so it is still a favorite age of mine! They have so much energy and the best little personalities and they show interest in activities like cutting the grass and reading books.
In addition to getting photos of baby Parker, I took a lot of family photos and a lot of photos of Big Brother! So here are the images from the first half of their newborn and family session that took place in the comfort of their beautiful Pittsburgh home! Sessions at home are always more relaxing and less stressful than a session at a studio or even a local park.

As always, it was so great to see this family and to document a few hours in their lives! I hope you liked seeing all of these newborn pictures of baby Parker and I know Mom values and treasures photography and will love to look back on these images when her babies are older and all grown up! It is so bittersweet to watch your little ones grow up and become more independent and less dependent on Mom and Dad!
