My awesome and long time returning client left me this wonderful review on Google after our session!   I can hardly believe that I have been photographing her family for the last eight years!   It means so much to me that she gave me a chance very early in my family photography career and has stuck with me this long!!   I just love to see her and her family every year and to see how much her boys have grown from the previous year!

We decided to meet at Phipps Conservatory to take some photos in the beautiful outside gardens and then we walked across the Panther Hollow Bridge over to the playground to finish our session.  And I am so glad we did because playgrounds make for some really fun photos!   Although I have three crazy boys of my own, I still could not believe how these two just did not get dizzy after spinning forever on the merry go round and the twisty spin poles!  And Phipps is the location that we had our very first session, eight years ago!

For the shots at the playground, I actually got on the merry go round and had Dad spin us so I could capture these fun photos!    This effect in photography, is called panning!   It is when you focus on a moving subject while the background is a motion blur.   As long as I focused on the kids, and did not let myself see the background spinning by, it was not too bad.  But as soon as I looked at the background, I was dizzy and a little ill!   But, it was totally worth it for a few fun shots!
