Family Photographer in Point Breeze

Here is part two of my photo session with this wonderful family that recently sold their home! As a Family Photographer in Point Breeze Pittsburgh, I captured a lot of fun photos inside their lovely home.

(scroll down to see the link to the first blog post where I share those images) and for the second part of their session, we took a very short walk to Frick Park, which is almost like an extension of their back yard!

I’m not usually one to chop heads off but I really love this photo from their family session. I love that their daughter requested that her mom wear her. As a mama that loved baby-wearing, I love that I documented possibly one of the last times she rode in the Ergo on mom’s back. And I love that big brother wanted mom and dad to swing him. I remember doing that with all of my boys. Do I remember the last times I wore a kid or swung them between my husband and me? Definitely not. I just know that one day they were too big for it and we had to say “sorry dude, you’re too big.”

When we got back to the house I wanted to make sure that we took photos on the porch and stoop! These are the images I want these kids to have when they are adults to remember one of their first childhood homes!

As a Family Photographer in Point Breeze, Pittsburgh, a family session with me is not like any standard family photo session Although I love to capture a few portraits of everyone, the majority of the images are not your typical portraits.

Every session I shoot is unique to every family that I work with! You’ll never see the photos from my sessions all taken at the same time of day at the typical pretty park settings.

Isn’t time you try something different? Like a photo session that is actually fun? Stress-free? A session where everyone just gets to be themselves? A session where Mom and Dad do not have to worry at all about how the kids will behave? I promise that such a thing exists!
