Hello and welcome! I know you were hoping to have found the perfect field of wildflowers in Pittsburgh for a photo session, Unfortunately, this field of wildflowers is no longer available.
I know, I know, this is super disappointing because I know how many people and photographers in the Pittsburgh area are always seeking that perfect field full of wildflowers for their family, engagement, or senior photo session.
However, I would love to photograph your family and help you find another location that is perfect for you! I know of other beautiful fields that we can take your family to for a photo session!

For almost as long as I have been a photographer, I have seen and heard photographers inquiring with one another looking for a field of wildflowers to have a perfect summer photo session. I have had many clients request this as well. Problem is, it really does not exist in the Pittsburgh area. There are some farms and plots of land that are not really for public use. There are also small parts of fields in a few local parks, but still…that perfect flower field is hard to find. So I decided this Spring, to create my own flower fields!
I ordered quite a few pounds of zinnia, wildflower and sunflower seeds and my three boys and my husband helped me plant them in May. (I told them it was the best Mother’s Day gift) We carefully made rows and sowed the seeds and covered them with dirt. It seemed like it took weeks for the tiny plants to emerge from the soil, but finally…they did. And with the help of all of the rain, they grey rapidly and this week, they began flowering! In just a couple of weeks these fields will be so full of flowers!
This is just the 2nd day of blooming, it will be bursting with colorful zinnias soon!
And this is one of the sunflower fields! As of yesterday, just one lonely head opened! The rest will soon follow!
Another perk is me and all of my neighbors will have a fresh bouquet of flowers all summer long!
I can not wait to have a few special sessions here on my farm with them! I will even have my own family photos taken in them!

How amazing! Would your fields be potentially available for rent for another model/photographer team? Like you said, they’re nonexistent around here lol
