My new great niece has arrived! Beautiful little Lacie Marie surprised us all by arriving a little over three weeks early! Despite being early, she is perfectly healthy and weighed in at 6 pounds and 3 ounces. I am so happy that I was there to photograph her birth on Wednesday morning! Today I went back to the Heritage Valley Hospital in Sewickley to do some Fresh 48 Hospital photos while her big brother and two big sisters were there. This is just a little sneak peek, but you know I will be sharing more images soon!
She looks so much like her oldest sister Hallie! And Miss Hallie is such an awesome and protective big sister.
I took off the baby’s hat for a few photos and she told me “Lacie does not like to have a cold head and likes to wear her hat!”
You may be wondering, “What is a Fresh 48 session?”. This means that I come to the hospital to photograph the baby before he or she is 48 hours old. This is a wonderful alternative to a birth session and a great way to capture these very special first moments for a family. I am happy to schedule your Fresh 48 session when older siblings and grandparents are there to see the baby. (More information here)
