St. Elizabeth Boardman Mercy Hospital Fresh 48 Newborn Baby Photos

Did you know that if you have your baby at St. Elizabeth Mercy Hospital in Boardman, Ohio, you can have a photographer come to the hospital for a Fresh 48 Newborn Baby Photo Session!?

And if you plan to deliver your baby at the hospital in Boardman, I would love to be your photographer!

A Fresh 48 session is when a professional photographer comes to the hospital within the first 48 hours after your baby is born to capture photos of you and your precious new bundle of joy!

As a Fresh 48 photographer that serves the Boardman, Ohio area, I usually plan to come to the hospital the day after you deliver your baby. I typically like to wait 18-24 hours so Mom has a little bit of rest after delivery! I have found in my years of experience as a Fresh 48 photographer, if I come too soon after the baby is born, the session can be more stressful.

Typically Mom and her partner have not had a chance to rest and the room is often still busy with nurses, doctors and other hospital staff. I try to keep my sessions as stress-free as possible, so it’s best to wait at least 18-24 hours.

If you have other children, I do my very best to coordinate our session time with the same time that your older child/children will also be at the hospital. Often, I can plan to be there when they arrive to meet their new sibling for the very first time! It’s so very special to have those first moments captured forever!

I’ll also capture images of baby in the hospital bassinet with any blankets, hats, etc., that you have. I also love to capture all of the tiny details of your tiny new baby like their feet, hands, nose, etc.

I’ll also take a lot of images of baby in the arms of the parents and other family members if they are also there!

As a Mom to older boys, I can speak from experience when I tell you that the first few days after your baby is born can become a bunch of fuzzy memories. If it were not for the photos that myself, my husband and other family members took to spark my memories, I feel like I would have forgot most of it!

I can also tell you from experience, that I wish I hired a professional photographer!
