Bridgeville Family Photographer | Mary Beth Miller
……….
Here is part two of my fun and stress-free family photo session with this family at their new home in Bridgeville! This blog post has all of the photos from when we hung outside together in their giant back yard! These kiddos are so lucky to have this yard to grow up in! Big brother played in his cozy coupe car and even took his big sister for a ride and he played ball with his Dad, and they blew bubbles and so much more. I find it so awesome that not that long ago I photographed this active toddler as a precious and expressive tiny newborn and what just feels like a couple of months ago, I also took photos of his newborn sister with the whole family!
As a Mom that is just about to have her first baby turn SIXTEEN (!!!!!) I know just how darn fast time flies by. I also know that when you’re in the midst of parenting little ones, like a toddler and a baby, that the days can feel so very long and often they can be so very hard. But Mom’s (and Dad’s), the years are so freaking short. I am often in disbelief that those years are so far behind me now.
The days filled with diaper changes, feedings, cereal and bananas all over the floor, dirty bottles and sippy cups filling the sink, dirty laundry everywhere, clean laundry everywhere, crying babies and toddler tantrums… (I could go on and on here lol) I remember all too well what that was like but I swear I would do it all over again and again and again. Because in the midst of that chaos are sweet little voices and baby coos and the chubby little (sticky) hands and the cuddles, ohhh the cuddles…I miss it all so very much.
Do not get me wrong, I really love the stage of parenting I am in now with a nine year old and TWO teenagers (I promise it is not as bad as some make it out to be) but what I would not give to go back and do it all over again. So what I am getting at here is this stage of life is so very short. And because I am now on the other side of parenting those little ones, I know that you will miss it.
I know that you will want photos to remember the {extra}ordinary days. I know that you will want images to remember not only the sweet cuddles and the chubby hands and faces but you will also want those real-life images of your family doing the things you do seven days a week. The photos of you all just hanging out and being together at your home.
I look forward to hanging out and documenting this beautiful family again as their sweet little ones get a little bit older.
Now go have a peek at part one of our session where we hung out on the front porch and inside their house!
