As a Pittsburgh baby photographer, I really love in-home photo sessions!  Although I enjoy taking photos for a family outdoors, I just love to photograph a family in the comfort of their own home.   In my opinion, the perfect location is your home!   Our homes are filled with items that tell a story, these are the perfect real life props! Here is a {big} look at a family photo session that took place at my clients’ beautiful house.

Seriously, I am showing almost the entire session!

How sweet is this precious baby boy!?  I love to photograph babies around three to four months old.  This is the time that they hold their heads up a lot, they show their personalities and the best part, they look at Mom and Dad and give huge smiles!   I can’t tell you how great it is for me to capture these moments for my clients.  I wish I had more photos of myself with my babies when they were around this age.

 Although most clients contact me for newborn photos, I am open to photographing your baby at any age!  They do not have to be one to two weeks old, I often take pictures of babies that are three to twelve weeks, and older.

This precious boy is so very loved by his wonderful parents.  It was an honor to be their photographer, to come into their home and to document this very special time in their lives.   As a mother to a soon to be 13 year old (I am in total denial), please know that they really do grow up much too fast.   It is so very bittersweet.  Allow me to freeze this moment in time for you, because before you know it, you are planning a 1st birthday…..sending them off to Kindergarten….then middle school….

Being a Pittsburgh Baby photographer for the last twelve years, These at home photo sessions are one of my favorite kinds of sessions!  I find that clients are usually more relaxed, especially babies and children.   And more importantly, I want to photograph the house that you have created into a home!   And do not ever think that your home is not photo worthy!    Your life and home do not have to be picture perfect.   But I also totally understand!   My little old farm house is always undergoing some DIY project,  the light is not fantastic, there are always dishes in the sink, clothes on the floor, scribbles on the wall….I live a real life with three boys!   But my house is also full of memories where my boys have been raised!  So consider an in-home session and email me for more details!
